La finitura ferro vecchio è realizzata con prodotti antiruggine adatti anche per  esterno e finita con cere antichizzanti color ruggine. Essendo eseguita a mano,  può avere  differenti  tonalità  tra un prodotto e l’altro. É possibile sopraverniciare il prodotto con qualsiasi vernice o trattamento.
